| What is Kids On Stage Summer Camp? |
 Kids On Stage Summer Camp is a performing arts playground. With their own imaginations as the spark, students collaborate to create an original play and a dance piece. Students take charge of all aspects of performance - from characters, dialogue and story to sets and costumes. Our teachers - arts and education professionals - provide the guidance and know-how to support students in bringing all they dream up to the stage.
- On-stage performance: To highlight all of their skills, students will present a final play and dance piece on a Main Street Theater stage. Family and friends are invited!
- Fun, fast-paced classes: In addition to daily rehearsals in theater and dance, students will get to explore enrichment classes such as Stagecraft (in which students will construct their props and costumes), storytelling, writing, stage combat, movement, and theater history.
- FOUR locations around Houston : in the Rice Village , the Museum District, Bellaire/Meyerland, and a new location in Montrose.
- Half-Day and Full-Day Camps: For ages 4 - 5, we offer half-day camps from 9 a.m. - noon ; for ages 6 - 14, we offer full-day camps from 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
- Before-/After-Care: Some options for extended-day care are available for all full-day students.
- Incentive for early registration. Our classes fill up fast, but there are discounts for registering before April 1.

| High School Workshop |
Our expanded workshop features lectures by arts professionals in acting, directing, and design. In addition, students will develop both original works and pieces from published plays. Actors never stop learning, and this is a chance for older students to sink their teeth into techniques of characterization, script analysis, and scene study.

| Summer Kids On Stage Musical (By Audition)

PIPPIN
By Stephen Schwartz and Roger O. Hirson.
In this hip, anachronistic fairy tale, young Prince Pippin longs to discover the secret of happiness. He seeks it in the glories of war, the temptations of self-indulgence, and the intrigues of political power. When he does find happiness (in the simple pleasures of home and family), will it be enough?
This ensemble-driven cast features many outstanding character roles, including a show-stealing song-and-dance narrator; Pippin's father, the emperor Charlemagne; his stepbrother, the bully Lewis; his scheming stepmother Fastrada, his happy-go-lucky grandmother Bertha; and Catherine, an "ordinary kind of woman."

| Registration Policies |
Registration Policies:
Registrations are accepted by mail and fax only.* See registration form for contact info. Registration will not be accepted without full payment. The KOS office will mail or email your confirmation card when your registration is received. If you do not receive confirmation within 10 business days, please call the KOS office immediately to confirm your place. Registrations submitted at the last minute may not be received in time. Refunds: $50 of class fee is a non-refundable processing fee. No refunds given less than two weeks prior to class start date. No refunds for R&P By Audition classes. Completed release forms must be turned in on or before the first day of class.
*Exception: Registration for R&P By Audition classes will take place on the first day of rehearsal. Please do not send in registration materials for audition-only classes prior to auditioning. There is no fee to audition, but you may need to sign up for a time slot for certain classes.
